Green Goodness Smoothie

This Green Goodness Smoothie is made with lots of kale and other wholesome ingredients. It makes a great breakfast meal and is an easy way to get in a good serving of greens.

  • leaves the from 4 large kale stalks (about 4 cups packed kale leaves) *see notes
  • 1 banana
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 3 tablespoons hemp hearts
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut water
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
  • 2 cups frozen mango chunks


  1. Blend all your ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Consume right away.

Recipe Notes

For lower powered blenders, you might need to add a bit more coconut milk or coconut water to get your smoothie blending.

Start with only 1 cup (or 1 large kale leaf) if you're just starting to use greens in smoothies. If you're using less kale, decrease the amount of coconut milk and coconut water by half a cup. Build up to 4 cups (4 large kale leaves) as your tastebuds adjust to the taste of kale.
